On its first broadcast window in Europe, Globo’s telenovela ‘A Life Worth Living’ broke the records. Since its first episode, the story has constantly remained among the top 5 most-watched shows of Portuguese pay TV, standing out as the best premiere in the last 5 years on Globo Portugal channel’s time slot.
Having reached about 36 million people daily in Brazil, the main challenge of this telenovela is the same as the challenge we all have: knowing how to live. ‘A Life Worth Living’ is about death as an awakening for life, but with a light and high-spirited approach brought by the authors Rosane Svartman and Paulo Halm, and with the artistic direction of Luiz Henrique Rios. By the way, this team was made famous with ‘Total Dreamer’, a work licensed to over 100 countries and inspired by cinema and poetry. “In ‘A Life Worth Living’, this is the time for Literature”, says Paulo.
The audience will watch a mixture of strongly emotional scenes with lighter ones because it portrays life inside and outside teledramaturgy. The telenovela has a contemporary and fun language, while bringing reflection to a universal theme. “We want people to be inspired to live in a better way”, guarantees the director Luiz Henrique Rios.
