Synopsis
On the evening of March 14, 2018, the city councilor of Rio de Janeiro Marielle Franco and her driver Anderson Gomes were murdered. Years later, those who ordered the crime still have not been identified. This Globoplay Original documentary series explains how the crime that shocked Brazil and the world took place, retraces each step of the police investigation that followed a series of dead-ends, and shows the work of a group of reporters who have tried to unveil the case. With unprecedented access to personal documents of the families, the series also reveals who Marielle and Anderson were and the lives they left behind.
