Women are the future (working title)
Synopsis
Headed by three journalists, the doc series portrays the reality of women in three different countries - Iceland, Pakistan, and Brazil. Over five episodes, the trio tries to understand the position of feminist struggles around the world, and reports on the many forms of sexism that still exist within society. Based on interviews with both anonymous and famous women, controversial topics such as femicide, child marriage, sexual abuse, domestic violence, salary differences, and the attainment of rights are discussed.
