Synopsis
Rafael, Alex was on his way to his wedding to Sandra and stops to rescue him. But the plane explodes, killing the heroic Alex. Rafael, moved by the bravery of his savior, decides to give Sandra the tragic news himself. As fate would have it, arriving at the church Rafael realizes the young bride is the same girl he had had a fortuitous encounter the night before.
From then on, Rafael feels responsible for Sandra's suffering, while she turns against him, accusing Rafael of being a murderer. The hatred, however, will become a beautiful love story.
Sandra had always lived frugally, believing her parents to be Elísio (Daniel Dantas) and Beatriz (Heloísa Périssé). On the other hand, Vitória, Rafael's ex-fiancée, grew up surrounded by wealth and extravagance believing to be the daughter of Fernando (Marco Ricca) and Carlota (Giulia Gam). But the truth is that the girls were exchanged at birth due to a vengeance.
Fernando had always had many lovers, but Susana (Alessandra Negrini) thought she was the only one and that her love was reciprocated. Until the day Fernando's wife gets pregnant and he leaves his jealous lover once and for all. Resentful, Susana exchanges Fernando's daughter for another child at the hospital. And to make her revenge complete, she is the one that, years later, reveals her crime to her former lover just to watch him suffer.
However, Vitória's family is not excited with the news, thinking Sandra is only interested in their fortune. So, once again the girls' fates intertwine, but this time to solve all the disputes with their biological families.
From the same director of Brazil Avenue, Boogie Oogie includes romance, drama, suspense and intense emotions. It is a great story set in Disco's golden years.
