Tangled Hearts
Synopsis
A romantic comedy, Tangled Hearts is the story of six young friends from different worlds and with different personalities who, in search of their dreams, find their lives intertwined by chance.
The florist Bento (Marco Pigossi), the it girl Amora (Sophie Charlotte) and the bad boy Fabinho (Humberto Carrão) met as children in a foster home. There, Bento and Amora lived a pure and true love, until she was adopted by the freeloader Barbara Ellen (Guilia Gam), who already had a biological daughter, the sweet Malu (Fernanda Vasconcelos). Amora grows up and, with her beauty and influence, becomes the main it girl of the country. That makes her win the heart of socialite Mauricio (Jayme Matarazzo), a man of outstanding character.
Fabinho, in turn, is adopted by a wealthy couple. When the family loses their fortune, he turns into a troubled adult and goes in search of his biological parents’ money.
Averse to fame, Malu meets Bento by chance and despite his past relationship with her foster sister, she is captivated by him, which leads to a troubled love triangle.
Bento grew up happily in his foster parents’ house, dedicated to the flower shop he owns with his partner and secret admirer Giane (Isabelle Drummond). When he meets Amora again, the love they felt in childhood resurfaces with great force, but now Malu is also part of the scene.
Tangled Hearts, an urban and contemporary comedy, explores with humor and lightness, the value choices of the characters. Six young people attracted by the differences that separate them and willing to do anything to be recognized for who they are, what they have or who they appear to be. Sharing the same goal of finding love and happiness, they end up emotionally enmeshed.
