Synopsis
An inheritance of millions brings the fun-loving Charlô (Irene Raveche) and her bad-tempered cousin Otávio (Tony Ramos) closer than they ever expected. The inheritance, which includes a mansion and a chain of clothing stores, stipulates that the assets remain in the family. And since no one is willing to give up their part they decide to share the mansion and the business, despite the mortal hatred they harbor for each other. Charlô’s adopted son Felipe (Edson Celulari) also becomes caught up in the situation. However, he turns against his mother and becomes Otávio’s right-hand man at the company.
This house is also home to Nando (Reynaldo Gianhecchini), the family chauffeur, and Juliana (Mariana Ximenes), Charlô’s granddaughter and her faithful supporter. Nando develops a platonic love for Juliana; however, not only does she ignore him, she also starts a relationship with Fábio (Paulo Rocha), a married photographer. Even though Nando’s chiseled jaw and athletic build don’t attract Juliana, they do catch the eye of Roberta (Glória Pires), the supplier of Charlô’s shops, who hires Nando to work as a model for her brand. Losing hope over his unrequited love for his boss’s granddaugther, the chauffeur becomes involved with the businesswoman Roberta. But when Nando and Juliana end up alone on a desert island, the natural difficulties of the situation make the impossible possible—the millionaire, Juliana, falls in love with the chauffeur, and casts their social differences aside. Their relationship, once unimaginable, gives them strength to overcome the obstacles before them. They discover that they truly have feelings for each other and thus begins a relationship full of fights, ups and downs, and, despite everything, full of love.
In the meantime, Roberta fights with Otávio. Charlô takes Roberta’s side and the fight with her cousin intensifies. To try to resolve their quarrel, they make a bet:
Charlô and her sales team have 100 days to increase the profits of the stores. If they fail, she will have to hand over her part of the inheritance to Otávio. But if they win, it is Otávio who loses everything. War has been declared. On one side of the battlefield is the cunning duo Otávio and Felipe, and on the other, Charlô, Juliana and Roberta. Who will prevail?
